Charlie Watts - Save the Music
The world lost a true gentleman this week. Charlie Watts was not only described as one of the best drummers of all time, he was also considered to be one of the best dressed. Charlie drummed for the Rolling Stones for over 50 years, one of the most legendary bands of all time. On the side he also pursued other forms of art and jazz tributes to Charlie Parker. A standout anecdote about Charlie comes from the mid-1980s. An intoxicated Jagger phoned Watts's hotel room in the middle of the night, asking, "Where's my drummer?" Watts reportedly got up, shaved, dressed in a suit, put on a tie and freshly shined shoes, descended the stairs, and punched Jagger in the face, saying: "Never call me your drummer again."
This loss has inspired us to make a series of pocket squares for our Save the Music Foundation project.
A portion of the proceeds will be directly donated to the foundation.
